Ed Donofrio is also a 4th Degree Knight, the highest honor, in the Knights of Columbus serving as a trustee and a member of the Color Guard Corp.  Ed also is a member of the New Castle Country Club and the Lawrence Club,  and serves on several committees. Ed Donofrio is involved in the community and enjoys giving back to the area. Higher education includes Youngstown State University and Butler Community College, where he taught classes in Travel and Tourism. Developed the standards, discription and Standard Operating Procedure Manual for the position of Compliance Officer for a wholesale drug company. My manual was adopted by DrugMax and Valley Drug New Orleans. The manual was also available to other drug wholesalers. The position was new to the industry with very little information available upon which to draw. All procedures were tested and refined over the course of developement until the finished product was completed The position requies that a wholesale drug company must safegard that RX drugs are not counterfit and be able to prove the origin through means of a "pedigree" that tracks each movement of the controlled drug. All facets of safe receiving, entry to inventory, storage and handling of controlled substances is also coverered in the manual. Valley Drug was purchased by Family Drug, a retail pharmacy chain..
